Our wonderful Year 2 sang their hearts out at The Little Big Sing led by West Sussex Music and hosted at Springfield. The theme was 'Our World.' 

We sang several songs collectively with 3 other schools, and then we were given the opportunity to sing on our own. Luckily, our Year 2 children have been learning several songs from a mini musical called The Emerald Crown which fits the class topic theme 'How we look after our world.' The songs we chose to sing tell us about the rainforest and the reasons why we should fight to look after it. We also sang a silly song about naughty monkeys partying all night long in the trees. We invited the other schools to join in with us and howl like monkeys.

Our performance was magical. The children sang enthusiastically and their diction was crystal clear. They had some tricky lyrics to sing!  Some of the children felt quite nervous, but this didn't show. Behaviour was impeccable and we were incredibly proud. Well done, Homefield!
