Our Y4 basketball team played in the Sussex Schools Basketball Finals on Monday afternoon against 6 teams from Chichester/Bognor, Crawley and Mid-Sussex who had all previously won their area finals.
We had 6 games in a round robin style in our first 2 games we cruised through with comfortable victories 14-4 and 8-0 then the level of competition ramped up. But 10-4 and 12-0 wins followed by a 10-6 win set us up for the final game against Our Lady Queen of Heaven Primary from the Crawley Area. This match was a close game and for once our shooting was off and we lost 2-6 but luckily, we had already done enough to secure the title of Sussex Champions! The team worked incredibly hard and showed great determination and teamwork to help them secure the title.

Some children from KS1 participated in the locality New Aged Kurling competition. All the children played really well and were great at supporting their team mates. A fab effort from all, well done!

8 schools competed for the Y3/4 Rise Gymnastics title at Davison High - our gymnasts had worked hard preparing their floor routines and vault jumps ready for the competition with the help of Mrs Hayman. The gymnasts loved the competition with smiles, laughter and support for each other throughout. The team finished just one point off of 4th place and Bella from Y4 scored in the top 10 gymnasts overall.
