2 teams entered the Quadkids athletics- this event all athletes have to complete a 75m sprint, 600m run along with a standing long jump and howler throw. Each event scored points for the individuals and also their team.  Nearly 180 pupils from across Worthing entered the competition and our very own Roman won the boys event (2nd year running) achieving the Gold standard again. The White team finished 5^th and Blue's in 13^th out of the 17 teams. 

What a wonderful morning of activities for our pupils in the Olympic spirit! Firstly, our torch was carried in by Eida and Octavio before Lily and Greta, read the Legacy Games oath. The opening ceremony was completed with a wonderful dance by Palatine Primary before the action began. Cricket, frisbee, athletics, football, Zumba and tri-golf events were all thoroughly enjoyed by the group which was concluded with a relay. They all deserved their gold medals at the end!

Some of the Netball club went over to TAB to play in a couple of friendly matches. It was an opportunity to try new positions or establish their favoured position. Great to see some new faces taking part - this event also took us to over 600 pupil places given to represent the school this academic year with 300 different pupils doing so!
