This half term, the children have been finding out about Edward Elgar and some of his key works: singing along to Land of Hope and Glory, appreciating the beautiful Cello Concerto and the story behind this and of course, the wonderful Nimrod and learning how to play this theme. Nimrod is from the Enigma Variations, dedicated to his friends and family - so of course, we created music dedicated to our friends using their personality traits to inspire us 🙂
