As the Year 6s are finding out all about Ancient Egypt, we have been finding out, first of all about African music, and then Egyptian music. We have played major and minor chords and explored the sound of semitones to create Egyptian-sounding themes. Here we are composing Egyptian-sounding music, exploring minor chords and semitones, to create music for a desert-level computer game. Always thinking of music as a real-job - and you never know, we might get a job working for Nintendo one day...
