Our team from Y1&2 took part in the competition with 14 other teams. This was a fantastic opportunity to give a taster of football match play for many of the players. The team battled hard and worked well. Tommy made some fantastic saves when he was in goal and lots of strong tackles from all.
Another fantastic display by our netballers, they went unbeaten throughout all their games in the Southern Area finals winning around half of them. They eventually finished in third position (on goals scored) - they have come on a brilliant netball journey over the last few months with the help of Miss Layborn.
Our team of Y3/4s took part in the Netball Shootout trying to score as many goals as possible in each game. The players grew in confidence throughout the event and scored more points in every game they played in. After their 6 matches they finished in 3^rd place and whetted their appetite for more netball in the future. We still have a few places available at netball club for this term too!
