At Homefield, we encourage the participation in many different competitive and non-competitive sporting activities. We try to enter as many competitions and leagues to give children the chance to take part in competitive game-play. For those who prefer the enjoyment of sport, we participate in numerous festivals and taster sessions too. 

For our sporting teams, we encourage a desire to compete in a fair and respectful manner. 

September 2025

This week saw the start of sporting events with other schools. On Tuesday, we had a Y5 and a Y6 team take part in a football festival at TAB - both teams gained valuable experience of match play during the event and Caleb and Alessio were voted Player's Player from their respective teams. 

Wednesday it was KS1's turn with a group of budding rugby players trying out different skills, including kicking, tagging and passing.
